- Cancellation and Refund Policy for Online Self-Paced (OSP) Medical Coding Course
a. Medcode, Inc. (HIM Training Institute, is a division of Medcode, Inc.) reserves the exclusive right to determine the merit of refund requests for discontinuation within the first five (5) days, which refund shall be subject to a cancellation fee of 10%. Factors such as health issues, natural disasters, valid emergencies, and similar circumstances shall be considered for the eligibility of the refund.
b. All payments are non-refundable beyond the first five (5) days from purchase.
c. Medcode, Inc. (HIM Training Institute, is a division of Medcode, Inc.) may, at its discretion, refuse access to all course materials for the Student after one missed payment (if on installment plan).
d. After two consecutive missed payments for those on installment plan, Medcode, Inc. (HIM Training Institute, is a division of Medcode, Inc.) may terminate the Agreement upon notice and forfeit what has been paid thus far by the Student.
e. Medcode, Inc. (HIM Training Institute, is a division of Medcode, Inc.) may collect books or terminate course access and withhold the training certificate for failure to settle payments under any of its installment plans, if such was the mode of payment opted.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy for Live Virtual Class (LVC) Medical Coding Course
a. Medcode, Inc. (HIM Training Institute, is a division of Medcode, Inc.) reserves the right to cancel any training course due to insufficient enrollment. Should this occur, the Medcode shall refund all fees paid by the Student, with no additional charges or deductions.
b. Should the Student pay in full and decide not to proceed with the course prior to the start date,,
refund may be issued, subject to a refund fee equivalent to 20% of the total course fees to cover
administrative costs.
c. All payments made by the Student, excluding cases specified in Section 2.a & 2.b, are otherwise
non-refundable once the course has commenced.
d. All payments made by the Student are strictly non-transferable to another course or individual.
e. In the event the Student withdraws from the program (under installment plan) after it has
commenced, Medcode, Inc. (HIM Training Institute, is a division of Medcode, Inc.) reserves the right to require full payment for any medical coding books and classes already attended as part of the training.
f. Reservation fees are strictly non-refundable.
